The message is clear.  To increase the chance of survival, start CPR and attach and use an AED as soon as possible. Because time is a critical factor for survival with a person having a heart attack or a cardiac arrest, public awareness campaigns and education are important and so is the introduction of the GoodSAM app which will ensure trained help arrives as soon as possible.

This includes factors like no access to the internet or a car, receiving a means-tested benefit, household income below an income threshold, being 18-64 and unemployed, being 18-64 years old with no qualifications, a single parent family, and not living in own home (seep15 of the report for full definition).
